Development Partnership International

Development Partnership International (DPI) is a youth-led NGO that is preparing youth to take leadership positions in African society. This includes a multi-sectorial approach that considers various key issues to the sustainable development of Africa. We believe that empowering young people involved in social change and development initiatives is key component to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. As well as the core staff DPI is made up of an international network of young leaders from across Africa who are linked to each other to share resources, ideas and work together to initiate strategies and partnerships in projects that will improve livelihoods in their communities. We attend various continental and international events relating to education, ICTs health care and AIDS.

Development Partnership

Development Partnership is DPI's flagship national programme. Based in Port Harcourt, DP seeks to develop and implement strategies that ensure the effective integration of issues important to young Nigeria activists into Africa’s development initiatives as well. We all help to coordinate events among various Nigerian groups to ensure their effective participation at major regional and international decision making processes.
