Dabesaki
Mac-Ikemenjima is Executive Director of DPI and has been
involved in international activism since 2003. He has been a youth
advocate in issues related to Information and Communication Technology
for Development (ICT4D), Education for All and HIV/AIDS with a
special emphasis on youth participation in decision making. He
helped to found Students Without Borders, the students arm of
Teachers Without Borders and is one of the key forces behind the
establishment of the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA).
Dabesaki is an author of two books and is currently undertaking
a final research on "The Impact of the Knowledge of HIV/AIDS
on Adolescent Sexual Behavior." He has developed an e-counseling
model with which he hopes to provide counseling services for young
people from a variety of backgrounds using ICT. Dabesaki's objective

Onyinye
Ndubuisi Belinda is Co-Founder and HIV/AIDS/ Gender Coordinator. As an economist, a parliamentarian,
innovator, a Youth Activist and a gender expert, she has spoken
in various conferences. She is committed in making a difference
in the world, with special interest in the total development of
youths and children. Recently, she made a presentation at the
10th International Women and Health Meeting in India, (10th IWHM)
Titled "The Problems of Unprotected Sex among young women
and which had another sub presentation Titled "Why Young
Girls Have Sex." She won the 2005 Stayalive Youth Award and
has been involved in various national and international processes
including the Development of the Interim Poverty Reduction Strategy
Paper for Nigeria, National Budget Monitoring. The United Nations
Coordination and Outreach Unit Division for the Advancement of
Women Department of Economic and Social Affairs has recently selected
her as a speaker and participant in the March 8 Commission on

Samuel
Adebayo is Strategy Coordinator. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mass
Communication and has been a freelance journalist. He has versed
knowledge of National Development issues in Nigeria and has been
analysing the National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy
(NEEEDS) as well as researching the situation of youth and employment
in Nigeria. He is also the Co-Chair of DPI’s Nigerian Youth

Betsy
Imabibo Ibiere is International Partnerships Coordinator. She developed a paper as a contribution to the Beijing +10 Process
on Culture, the African Woman and Development, which will be sent
to the 49th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women
in February 2005. She was the Director of Socials of Le Circle
Francais at the Rivers State College of Education, was part of
the Cultural Troupe that represented Nigeria at a French cultural
festival in Lyon France and won a French Theatre Award during
the French Cultural Festival at the Nigerian French Language Village.
Betsy is a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and is currently
involved in the production of two movies. She is the CEO of IBM
